　　The University's validation work has grown significantly since it began in 1974. During the 2007/08 academic session, a thriving student population numbering over 17,000 was registered on 332 validated programmes at more than 100 institutions in 30 countries.
　　Although a great number of validated programmes fall within business-related fields, the University aims to provide a service which crosses subject boundaries by drawing on its pool of academic expertise and excellence. Candidates are enabled to choose from a wide range of degree programmes?from undergraduate Music in Singapore, to postgraduate Law in Sri Lanka or Clinical Research in Germany.
