Your outline research proposal should be approximately 2500 words on the study you propose to undertake. This should be structured as follows:
- Project Title
- Project Outline: stating the precise subject area and aims of the proposed research
- Literature Review: selective literature review (including key references) that explains how your proposed research would relate to earlier work and how you expect it to make an original professional practice contribution to the existing body of knowledge in the area.
- Research Design: summary of the proposed research design, indicating intended methodology, planned data sources, sampling methods, data collection and proposed methods of analysis. Where any ethical issues are relevant, you should also indicate how these will be managed.
